Toyota Prius battery and engine problems

Engine repair, refurbishment and replacement

• Engine refurbishment: disassembly, inspection, replacement of worn parts, cleaning and reassembly
• Installation of an inspected replacement engine with warranty
• Inspection and, where needed, repair or replacement of the cylinder head, piston rings, seals and water pump

The choice between repair, refurbishment and replacement depends on engine condition and economic viability.

High-voltage battery repair and replacement

• Battery refurbishment: testing modules, replacing weak units and balancing
• Replacement of faulty modules where appropriate
• Installation of a new manufacturer-supplied or refurbished high-voltage battery

Complete replacement is not always necessary. In some cases, module replacement and battery recalibration can be sufficient.

Hybrid battery replacement is offered with a six-month warranty. We confirm the terms for the selected replacement when agreeing the work.
