Poor heating, weak cooling or unusual noise?

We assess the condition, operation and leak-tightness of Tesla heat pump and air conditioning systems. Routine maintenance checks system condition; when a fault is present, we first identify the cause and agree the required repair.

Why maintenance matters

The thermal management system heats and cools the cabin and helps regulate battery temperature. Refrigerant loss, dirty heat exchangers, blocked drains or deteriorating components can reduce efficiency and increase compressor load.

• Weak heating in cold weather or poor air conditioning
• Slow battery preconditioning and reduced cold-weather DC charging speed
• Higher energy consumption and reduced winter range
• Unusual noise, cabin misting or fault codes

What we check

• Heat pump and compressor operation
• System pressures and temperature sensors
• Valve control and heating/cooling performance
• Refrigerant charge and leaks
• Heat exchangers, airflow and condensate drainage

Where necessary, we evacuate and recharge the system according to manufacturer specifications. Any fault repair is agreed based on the findings.

Maintenance or fault repair?

Maintenance aims to assess and preserve condition. Warning messages or poor heating/cooling may require separate fault diagnosis and repair. The appropriate inspection interval depends on manufacturer requirements, usage and system condition.
